As an agency, JACK RYAN has been a strong supporter and advocate of the IAB's Gold Standard since it launched. Following re-certification, the latest standard brings even greater transparency to the digital supply chain, ensuring safeguards and accountability across the sector.
The standard incorporates cross-industry standards and initiatives to address numerous shared challenge shared within the ecosystem, including tackling ad fraud, improving supply chain transparency and helping to limit carbon emissions.
The 2025 standard incorporates initiatives such as:
Reducing ad fraud by implementation of IAB Tech Lab's ads.txt, sellers.json and OpenRTB Supply Chain Object.
Upholding high standards of brand Safety through the independently audited TAG Brand Safety Certification.
Improving the experience through adherence to The Coalition for Better Ads advertising standards.
Strengthening Supply Chain transparency - By implementing steps such as IAB Tech Lab’s DemandChain Object, Open Measurement SDK and VAST CTV Addendum.
Limiting Carbon emissions in the supply chain - By addressing inefficient ad refresh rates and implementing bid floors to limit computational load.
Help compliance with the GDPR and ePrivacy law - By adopting IAB Europe’s Transparency Consent Framework (TCF).
